Why We Built This Site
Kansas provides public access to many case indexes and court records, subject to statutes, court rules, sealing orders, and redaction requirements. Access is not housed in one place. The Trego County District Court Clerk maintains the county's district-court civil, criminal, traffic, family, probate, juvenile, mental-health, and related files. Kansas CaseSearch offers statewide public case information, while the courthouse terminal and clerk can provide public material that is not shown online.
WaKeeney Municipal Court keeps its own city-ordinance and city-traffic records. The Trego County Clerk is a county-administration office, not the keeper of District Court dockets. These distinctions shape the contact details, portal instructions, case-number explanations, and request paths presented here.

What We Cannot Do
Trego County Court Docket is privately operated and has no affiliation with a Kansas court, clerk, or government agency. Its role is limited to public reference information.
- We cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file for a visitor
- We cannot change, continue, or reset a hearing
- We cannot seal, remove, correct, or expunge a court record
- We cannot issue a certified docket, order, judgment, or other document
- We cannot provide legal advice about a particular case
- We cannot promise that a posted fee, setting, office hour, or contact detail remains current
An official or certified District Court record must come from the Clerk of the District Court. Municipal records must come from the municipal custodian that maintains them.
Search Partners
Some content pages contain search tools operated by outside providers. A provider controls its own results, charges, service terms, and privacy practices. If use of a tool leads to a paid service, this website may receive a referral payment. That support helps make the public reference material available without charge. Trego County Court Docket does not set partner prices or control the contents of partner search results.
